I use a star-rating system similar to the Goodreads standard.
1⭐ = Awful. Maybe even DNF (did not finish).
2⭐⭐ = Okay. I wasn't keen but liked some parts of it.
3⭐⭐⭐ = Good. I enjoyed this book.
4⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Really Liked It! I know I'll listen to it again.
5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Loved it! Amazing! A real favourite.
Most of my reviews are 3 or 4 stars, and often the difference between them is influenced by how likely I am to listen to it again. Sometimes it's the narrator who bumps a 3-star listen up to 4, (or pulls it down to 2).
