A purple rosette featuring the words "MLHT Accessibility Affiliate" Disability-Friendly Book-Blog Linkup!

In a bid to encourage accessibility within the wonderful book-blogger community, I've partnered with the following sites who have all committed to make their blogs more user-friendly for people with additional needs.

Wherever you see this logo you'll know that the blogger cares about inclusivity, and hopefully this list will help you to find other book lovers' blogs which are easy to peruse.

Our amazing MLHT Accessibility Affiliates are:

TTS, customisable contrast and saturation, font resizing, font legibility, link highlighting. (UserWay plugin.)
"Evelina @ AvalinahsBooks strives to support as many #NewBloggers as possible, so she has a book blogger chat group dedicated to newbies, as well as many tutorials on her blog and a monthly (or mostly monthly) feature where she introduces the newest book bloggers to the community. Evelina reads quite widely, so you can find almost any genre on her blog, but she enjoys reading about women's emancipation, social justice, disability, friendship, and kindness the most. Even better if they're scifi or middle grade!"

TTS, customisable contrast and saturation, font resizing, font legibility, link highlighting. (UserWay plugin.)
"Kelly from Another Book in the Wall, is an enthusiastic reader who enjoys nothing more than sharing her love of reading with all! On her blog you can find Young Adult book reviews, thoughtful discussions, and other book blogging fun! She is also a strong advocate for teen book bloggers, and is the founder of the Teen Influencers Book Blogger Directory. She truly believes that anyone can make a difference in the community, and loves to boost and support as many bloggers as she can!"

If you're a #BookBlogger and would like to participate in our pledge to improve blog accessibility then please either reply in the comments below or get in touch via one of the methods on my contact page. If you'd like to be added then please send me:

  • The name of your book or audiobook blog and link,
  • A brief description of your blog,
  • The steps you have taken to make it accessible

I'll add your site to the list (when I am able, health permitting) and you can install our badge to display on your blog - so that our readers can find you, and yours can find us!

To add the badge to your blog, copy/paste the following code into an HTML/Javascript gadget (blogspot) or widget (wordpress), or add the code directly into your site's HTML wherever you want to position it.
