AudiobookSYNC is back! The summer program aimed at supplying audiobooks free of charge to teens starts up again this week, and the first books are available to download now.
Each summer AudioFile release two audiobooks per week, to be downloaded for free and then played using the app for mobile and desktop.
Please note: in previous years these titles have been available on the Overdrive app, but this year you will need to install the Sora app (made by Overdrive) to access them. Each pair of audiobooks will still be available to download for one week only, but once downloaded they are yours to keep.

"SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens. Returning April 30, 2020, SYNC will give away two complete audiobooks a week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be first to know when new titles are available to download at www.audiobooksync.com."

The audiobooks available for weeks 1 - 4 are:
Week 1, 30th April - 6th May:
The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater, and Monday's Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson.
Week 2, 7th - 13th May:
Picture Us in the Light by Kelly Loy Gilbert, and Secret Soldiers by Paul. B. Janeczko.
Week 3, 12th - 20th May:
Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco.
Week 4, 21st - 27th May:
Sisters Matsumoto by Philip Kan Gotanda, and Disappeared by Francisco X. Stork.
Links to the books, samples, and instructions to download can be found here. All you need to supply is your email address and AudioFile will let you download as many of the books as you like throughout the summer. But be quick, as each pair of books is only available for one week.
