Introducing 'Short and Sweet' Reviews

Black and white image of a woman in bed, dreaming, but her bed is a book. Text reads 'Short and Sweet'.

Having spent rather a lot of energy earlier this year, attempting first to launch and then refurbish this blog, I have been in a rather steep decline ever since. As a result, I have been unable to post thorough critiques of each book I listen to, as was my initial intention. So that you do not miss out on the wonderful books I discover during my wobblier-weeks, I'm launching a series of 'Short & Sweet Reviews'. These will - unsurprisingly - be shorter reviews, either of individual titles or multiple audiobooks, which will be posted sporadically. Sometimes a more comprehensive review will follow, but not always! The majority of these reviews will feature lightweight listening such as cosy mysteries and romances, or novellas and short stories.

This occasional brevity will also benefit the people who find my lengthy reviews rather wearisome, and may be a more manageable length for people who like to switch between reading and listening. I have attempted to make this blog as user-friendly as possible for its followers, but this step will help make things more accessible for me, too.

Thank you for your patience, and as always I welcome any comments and suggestions. Feel free to get in touch on our @MLHearingThings Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages, or via the comments section below!
