AudiobookSYNC is back! The summer program aimed at supplying audiobooks free of charge to teens is now into its third month.! I've loved the selection we've had so far, and here are the audiobooks that will be available in June and July.

Each summer AudioFile release two audiobooks per week, to be downloaded for free and then played using the Overdrive app for mobile and desktop.

"SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens. Returning April 25, 2019, SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads a week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be first to know when new titles are available to download at www.audiobooksync.com."

These are the pairs of books that will be made available for the next four weeks, and I'll post again at the end of July with the next month's selection. For weekly reminders you can text SYNCYA to 25827 or visit www.audiobooksync.com.

The audiobooks available are:

Week 9, 20th - 26th June: Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon, and Astray by Emma Donoghue.

Week 10, 27th June - 3rd July: Yaqui Delgado Wants To Kick Your Ass by Meg Medina, and Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry.

Week 11, 4th - 10th July: The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde, and The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson.

Week 12, 11th - 17th July: Vincent and Theo by Deborah Heiligman, and Becoming Kareem by Kareen Abdul-Jabbar and Raymond Obstfeld.

Links to the books, samples, and instructions to download can be found here. All you need to supply is your email address and AudioFile will let you download as many of the books as you like throughout the summer. But be quick, as each pair of books is only available for one week.
